My nature photography is an expression of the joy I feel pursuing outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, kayaking, and birding. I have been lucky to be able to incorporate these activities into book projects, magazine articles, and newspaper stories. I hope you enjoy these photographs from three of my favorite places--the central California coast, the Sierra Nevada mountains, and the shores of Cape Cod.
